Best Streak in Years for Terror Softball

The Palmer girls’ softball team won their second straight game on Monday, September 27th against league opponent Harrison in a blowout win (18-0).

The Terrors had seven players with two or more runs which played a huge role in contributing to the team’s win. In the Harrison game, five players had a perfect batting average. While these players may have not been at bat often, they made every hit count when they were up there. The Terrors got an early jump from the start and never looked back.

This game was their second win in three days after defeating Woodland Park on Saturday, September 25th. The game against Woodland Park was a more hard-fought game with a final score of (8-7), but this shows the girls’ will to compete and find a way to win. Again, this was another team effort as six players scored runs in the game. Before this successful two game stretch, the Terrors were on a losing streak, but they kept working and now they find themselves enjoying more success.

With five games left in the season and two of those being against Widefield (another league opponent), the Terrors softball team looks to build upon their recent success as they look to finish off the season strong.
