Colorado’s Free College Application Days Are Here!

Calandra McLaughlin

Hey seniors, it is college application season, and the application fees can get pretty hefty ranging between $25 to $100. Let’s save some of that cash and take advantage of Colorado’s free college application days, October 19th, 20th, and 21st

This year is the fourth year Colorado and colleges all over Colorado will be providing free application submissions! Governor Polis extended the applications day to multiple days, allowing Colorado high school students and others looking to go to college, to apply with the application fee waivered for three days.

Last year, almost 57,000 applications were filled out and submitted. After Polis announced the multi-application days, he also noted that half of those applicants were from minority households. Thirty-two of Colorado’s public colleges and universities, as well as a few private ones will be waiving applications fees during these three days.

College is not for everyone, nor is anyone required to go to college, however, if you are interested or thinking about going to college after high school, especially seniors, take advantage of Colorado’s free application days this year, October 19th, 20th, and 21st! If you have any questions about getting access to applications, waiver codes, or just need help, do not hesitate to reach out to our counselors here at Palmer who are ready to help! Happy free college application days Terrors!
