Should Palmer Make A Skating Club?

Palmer, as you may know, has many clubs and activities but there is no club that is made for skaters. I am thinking of starting up a club for skateboarders at our school to get together and make new friends and learn how to skate. I have been skating for over 10 years and I can say one of the hardest things for me was finding people that I could trust and feel safe around at the skatepark. Many kids tend to quit because they do not find any fun in it and have nobody to skate with. If this club were to become a thing more kids can learn to skate and for kids who want to make new friends to come and have fun and learn new tricks. This has been something that I have been thinking about for a while and I wonder if the kids at Palmer who skate a lot or who want to learn to skate would want to create a club for skaters. As a start to the club, we would start off with teaching people how to skate with safety equipment how to use it,  proper foot placements and bail techniques. Doing this will teach the skaters how to skate the safest way possible so they will not crash into the other people at the park who are trying to skate. The more advanced skaters will always stick with the new skaters to make sure they are safe.
