The mayor’s monthly briefing was at 10AM Wednesday, 15th held in the courtyard of Palmer High School where he spoke on concerns based on back-to-school safety and traffic concerns during this month’s back to school debriefing. The courtyard was loaded with Palmer students waiting to hear the mayor. He led the conference by talking about the city’s efforts to expand community and behavioral health programs and establishing an action plan to ensure its public safety. As Colorado’s population continues to grow he talks about the preparation in investments for not just the city but ensuring the safety of Palmer High School. He emphasized the safety of our school by giving a warm highlight to our resource officers and security guards here at Palmer. He followed this up by asking all who drive to be attentive and aware while on the road, especially at school and during heavy traffic areas. He ended the debriefing by thanking Palmer and our staff for our spirit and impact on the city!
