Alan Garcia, who grew up in El paso TX, describes how prices back in the 90s compared to now.
For one thing the quantity of food has decreased while the price has increased. For example, the new Gatorade bottle has decreased by 4 ounces.
Alan Garcia says ¨Most of all the local stores offered almost packs of items and or food for small prices compared to today. Such as being able to buy multiple snack boxes/packs for amounts near $2.50.” Those same packages sell today for $8.68.
The quality of food has changed over time along with the price. Were the items worth it?
Alan replies, ¨Yes and no. You could easily get scammed for bad quality items or off brand things because of the price, but you could also get good things from it.¨
