There are a couple events that come to mind when you think of January, like New Years. One special day in this month that you may not know a lot about is Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Originating in 2005, the United Nations made June 27, 2025 Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is stated that every member of the UN should honor the six million Jews as well as those members of other minorities who perished in the genocide under the dictatorial rule of Adolph Hitler from 1933 to 1945.
