Once upon a time in a very green forest, lived a group of animal friends. They were Benny the rabbit, Clara the squirrel, Leo the fox, and Holly the owl. This group was the bestest of friends and shared many fun adventures together. One morning, while eating breakfast together, Benny hopped excitedly around his friends.
“I heard from the old owl that there is hidden treasure deep in the spooky woods!” he said. The others drew interest at the mention of treasure. “What kind of treasure?” they asked.
“The old owl’s legend says it’s an acorn that grants one wish to whoever finds it!” Benny replied.
Determined to find this treasure, the friends decided to go along with the adventure and bring some supplies. They gathered some berries for energy and nuts. Tilly brought along a map she had drawn based on how it was described by others she heard throughout the forest.
As they made their way through the spooky woods, they ran into their first of many challenges. They came to a wide river.
“How will we cross?” Leo asked the others.
“I can help.” Tilly broke the silence. With her perfect eyesight, she spotted stepping stones going across the river. They hopped across until they all reached the other side.
Then, they ran into a bunch of thorny bushes. “It’s too risky to pass through!” Clara squeaked, worried about getting hurt. But Benny suggested they work together. So, Leo used his sharp teeth to bite away some of the thorns on the bushes. They managed to create a wide enough path through the bushes to get through.
After hours of exploring and scavenging through the forest, they arrived at the tree arch of the spooky woods. The trees were dark and full of green leaves, and the air was filled with fog and the smell of mildew. In the center of the woods was a majestic willow tree.
At the bottom of the tree, in a small hole in the base, they spotted a shiny acorn nestled in the tall grass.
“We found it!” Benny said in disbelief.
As they approached the tree, Tilly reminded them that they could only make one wish. They gathered around the acorn covered in grass, each taking turns to grant their own wishes. Clara wished for endless nuts, Benny wished for a cozy burrow, Leo wished for speedy legs to outrun anything, and Tilly wished for forever wisdom and good eyesight. After much thought, they agreed that they would use the wish together while holding each other’s paws and wings. They wished for happiness and safety for all the creatures of the forest.
As the acorn began to shake a bit and have a hint of a glow, they felt a wave of joy wash over the grove. The animals of the forest celebrated together for eternal happiness together, and Benny, Clara, Leo, and Tilly continued to have many adventures, while growing their never ending friendship and the memories of their shared acorn wish adventure.
