Varsity coach, Adrianne Dettler and her Terror volleyball team are going against the Coronado Cougars today at the home of the Cougars.
The Palmer Terrors are facing the Coronado cougars on September 25, 2025. Considering the Cougars are 0-9, it’s not expected to be a hard win.
Adrianne Dettler said confidently, “If we keep up with the skills we worked on in practice with defense, blocking, and serve receive we should be just fine today. Some of our serves are really strong.”
Coaches can do a lot to motivate their team during practice. “The biggest thing is at practice that’s my time to help them but when it comes to games it’s all on them. Because we can only do so much as a coach; we can call timeouts, we can make subs but as far as what we can do in games has to come from what they want to get out of it too,” she said with a smile on her face.
Terror varsity is strong compared to the Coronado Cougars. “We have a very solid front row and we are offensively strong. Our hitters need to be able to trust that they can swing away and know that their defense is behind them if they get blocked.”
If you want to catch the game it will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 25 at Coronado High School.
